I. Brief Profiles of Canton Fair
 

China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is held biannually in Guangzhou every spring and autumn, with a history of 57 years since 1957. The Fair is a comprehensive one with the longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China.

Canton Fair attracts more than 24,000 China's best foreign trade companies with good credibility and sound financial capabilities, and 500 overseas companies to participate in the Fair.

Canton Fair is a platform for import and export mainly, with various and flexible patterns of trade. Besides traditional way of negotiating against samples, the Fair holds Canton Fair Online. Various types of business activities such as economic and technical cooperation and exchanges, commodity inspection, insurance, transportation, advertising, consultation, etc, are also carried out in flexible ways. Business people from all over the world are gathering in Guangzhou, exchanging business information and developing friendship.

2. How to get to Canton Fair Complex:

—By Metro

(Metro Line 8 passes Canton Fair Complex).

Take Line 8 and exit from Exit A of Xingangdong Station to Area A of the Complex;

Take Line 8 and exit from Exit A or Exit B of Pazhou Station to Area B of Complex,;

Take Line 8 and exit from Exit C of Pazhou Station to Area C of Complex.

You may take Metro at your convenience to Canton Fair Complex.

Canton Fair Complex pickup zone:

Taxis are not allowed to pick up passengers in any regions except:

Area A & Area B: taxi pick-up passage on Complex Mid. Road

Area C:the pick-up point at the east side of Complex Area.

Time:

Phase Ⅰ: 18:00pm –19:00 pm on the previous four days; 15:00pm-16:00pm on the last day.

Phase Ⅱ: 18:00pm –19:00 pm on the previous four days;15:00pm-16:00pm on the last day.

Phase Ⅲ: 18:00pm –19:00 pm on the previous four days;15:00pm-16:00pm on the last day.

Canton Fair provides service of free shuttle buses from the Complex to the downtown (passengers can enjoy free WIFI service).The service time and routes are as follows:

Line 1:  Canton Fair Complex to Huanshi Zhong Road（Destination: Asia International Hotel）

Nearby are: Garden Hotel, Baiyun Hotel, Crown Plaza Hotel Guangzhou City Centre, Holiday Inn, Ocean Hotel, Friendship Store;

Line 2: Canton Fair Complex to Liuhua Road (Destination: Dongfang Hotel)

Nearby are: Dongfang Hotel, China Hotel, Parkview Square Hotel, Landsman Hotel, New Mainland Hotel, Overseas Chinese Hotel, Liuhua Hotel, Guangzhou Railway Station, Yuexiu Park Station of the Guangzhou Metro.
