Harvesting is Invited to the Exhibition of the Exported Counterfeits Seized by Huangpu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau
On September 25, 2015, Huangpu, China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (“Huangpu CIQ”) holds the exhibition of the seized exported counterfeits. Before the exhibition, we have assisted Huangpu CIQ to make preparations including improvement to the raid procedure, collection of all kinds of samples and setup of the showroom.
A research team jointly organized by Guangdong Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (“AQSIQ”) attends the exhibition as well, giving much credit for Huangpu CIQ’s efforts in connection to anti-counterfeiting. AQSIQ also issues a document urging all local authorities to vigorously promote and study the advanced experience and practice of CIQs in Guangdong.
In mid-September, right before the arrival of the research team, our team consisting of professional lawyers, brand protection specialists and investigators made several trips to Huangpu CIQ for preparation of the showroom.
During the preparation, our lawyers helped formulate verification statements and process, collection of relevant documents and other materials required in relation to seizure of the goods, showroom setup and exhibition of the counterfeits covering 11 types of goods seized at the customs such as apparel, leather products, daily chemicals, footwear, eletronic products, toys, medicines and so on.
At the show, AQSIQ expresses that it has been attaching great importance to anti-counterfeiting in import and export and thought highly of the accomplishments made by Huangpu CIQ in this regard.
