Harvesting Attends Counterfeit Destruction Organized by Huangpu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau as a Monitor
On September 25, 2015 as a site monitor, Harvesting attends a counterfeit destruction event at the invitation of Huangpu, China Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (“Huangpu CIQ”). In the event, fake products up to 46,000 pieces involving copies of K Group, Brand A and other worldwide famous sports and luxury brands agented by us are destroyed collectively. Mainstream media including CCTV, Xinhua News Agency and GDTV have reported the event respectively.
A team jointly set up by Guangdong Exit-entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (“AQSIQ”) arrived at Huangpu CIQ to carry out research about counterfeits on September 25. The team attends the exhibition of the exported counterfeits seized by Huangpu CIQ and then oversees the destruction of the fakes onsite. Delegates of an international brand, N along with our lawyers are present.
During the destruction, knock-offs up to 46,000 pieces involving dozens of international brands covering 11 types of goods such as leather products, apparel, footwear, bags, toys, food, eletronic products and so on are collectively destroyed. Harvesting acts on behalf of K Group and well-known sports brand, A, and other international luxury brands to participate in the event as a monitor.
The event was reported by mainstream media including CCTV, Xinhua News Agency and GDTV. Huangpu CIQ has achieved significant accomplishments in sustained anti-counterfeiting in export in recent years. AQSIQ points out that the Huangpu CIQ’s experience and pratice shall be promoted within CIQ system.
